In 2023, through a grant from the Blue River Community Foundation and meetings with dozens of non-profits, other community stakeholders, and potential donors, we developed our plan for creating a Shelby County Non-Profit Center. The new entity that will manage the facility and operations is called Healthy Shelby County (HSC).

Healthy Shelby County (HSC) has existed for over a decade; its main purpose being the operational arm of our Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), an extension of the mission of Major Health Partners (MHP) to ensure health for the community outside the walls of the hospital. For years, HSC has collaborated with the community to develop health improvement initiatives to improve the health of all our neighbors.
