A local family with long ties to the Greensburg community recently sold a portion of their interstate frontage farm to the Greensburg Redevelopment Commission. The selected proposal calls for more than 70 middle-income homes to be built on the 25-acre property. This project would be the City of Greensburg’s largest housing addition in more than 15 years, accomplishing a need that was identified in the city’s 2018 housing study. READI investment in this project would extend utility infrastructure to the property to ensure that the development is feasible.
